Patterns

This is a simple straight seam pattern exciting enough for advanced quilters, yet the cutting and construction techniques are easy enough for a confident beginner.  

This quilt pattern can be made in scrappy, floating or charm, and is designed to be used for small quilts or as a border around a pieced or appliquéd center. 

The pattern includes sampler instructions as well as a layout grid for sampler (wall hanging), baby, lap and comfort sized quilt tops.  This pattern includes detailed instructions on using the block as a border, and a border layout grid is included. 

The 6" block produces 12" pinwheels which nest.
